It is obvious to us at www.anothersview. com that desperation and greed are the themes of daily life in the US. From the political disaster that is Trump and his menagerie to the national sports scene we are witnessing how greedy, power-hungry people are abusing their authority. The following posts will address just some of the ugly actions taken by the President and others as they succumb to the power of money. You may not like what you see but we are presenting only factual information that can be verified from a number of sources. So–if you disagree–better check your bias yardstick because you are at odds with irrefutable facts.
TRUMP WANTS TO ASSUME CONTROL OF THE MID TERM ELECTIONS
He knows his actions will result in huge GOP losses in November unless he takes steps now to prevent fair and secure elections. Almost all the off-year special elections have resulted in resounding Democrat wins–even in deep red Texas. The raucous–almost riotous–taunts at GOP townhall meetings led by GOP members of Congress clearly show that even red state voters are disgusted and angered by Trump antics. The final straw is what’s happening in Minneapolis. So Trump–really Stephen Miller because Trump isn’t smart enough to figure it out–is trying several tactics. First, he’s trying to provoke violence in Minneapolis so he can activate the Insurrection Act of 1807 and declare martial law. His excuse will be to protect public safety. So far, that hasn’t worked but now that Tom Homan–a defective ogre–is in charge it will be only a matter of time before citizen assaults are increased. Second, Trump has hinted that there really is no need to hold mid term elections because he’s doing such a fine job that they are unnecessary. We all know how that sucks. So, third, he’s claiming that so many states are full of election corruption that the Federal Government needs to take firm control of the voting results. This is, of course, a violation of the US Constitution but he doesn’t concern himself with such trivial interference. BEWARE! What is said off-the-cuff or in jest is just his way of floating his plan to see how far he can go and what kind of opposition he might face. These similarities are matters of fact. You may disagree but you can’t change them. The path to dictatorship is clearly in view. Those who choose not to believe may be the tipping point voters who make it happen. Do not accept any interference in the mid term exams. Trump knows you oppose him and his policies and he knows impeachment may be in his immediate future. He–and the GOP–are desperate. Remember the old saying “Desperate times call for desperate measures”. That’s the GOP perspective in 2026.
TRUMPS’ RAP SHEET
In case you don’t watch police dramas on TV, a rap sheet is a list of crimes an individual has committed. Because our president is committing so many crimes at such a rapid pace, we want to list some of the more egregious transgressions:
US CONSTITUTION VIOLATIONS: (REMEMBER, TRUMP TOOK AN OATH TO PRESERVE, PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION)
- ARTICLE I: section 8: instituted tariffs without Congressional ok; established a commerce relationship with Venezuela and their oil disposal; and declared war on Iran and Venezuela while threatening Mexico, Greenland, NATO and Colombia. All these actions REQUIRE CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL.
- ARTICLE 1: SECTION 9: violated the unlawful search and seizure (habeas corpus) clause; has enriched himself and his company violating the emolument clause.
- ARTICLE II: SECTION 1: again he is profiting by selling his likeness on trading cards, coffee mugs, Bibles, shoes, etc. This is a violation.
- ARTICLE II: SECTION 4: his 34 felony convictions certainly require his impeachment. That clause says a president shall be removed from office for…”high crimes and misdemeanors”. Why is he not challenged?
- FIRST AMENDMENT: By limiting press corps to only his sycophants and appearing only on friendly TV media he is denying the opportunity to be asked the hard questions. Also, by detaining people who peacefully demonstrate he’s abusing their free speech rights. And citizens have the right to assemble peacefully but ICE agents and Border Patrol have shot (9 times) and killed two calling them domestic terrorists–one was a Mother of 3 and the other was a VA ICU nurse. Neither had a criminal history–unlike our president.
- FOURTH AMENDMENT: This amendment stresses that it is a violation to unlawfully search and seize people, houses, papers and effects. ICE agents have repeatedly and without justifiable cause violated this clause and no punishment has been meted out.
- FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT: Birthright citizenship is being challenged on the premise that illegal residents are being allowed to vote and this will cause the GOP to lose elections. Trump wants to change the Constitution to sway enough votes–political purposes only.
In addition to these violations, let’s not forget the “double tap” on helpless fishermen in the Caribbean with no evidence/explanation. We cold continue to list inciting the Jan 6 riot, stealing classified documents, constant lying on every issue, defying court orders (Epstein, Garcia, etc.) But the rap sheet will grow longer if we don’t stop him in November. Impeachment must be the tool.
READ THIS: IT’S A REAL EYE-OPENER
We believe the 2024 presidential election was stolen by the Republicans. In the period from 2020 to 2024–the Biden Administration–Trump disfavored himself with many large voter blocks. The Jan 6 riot, the many court cases, his multiple adulteries, the 34 felony convictions, his anti-abortion position,–all alienated large blocks of voters and, as the polls showed, seem to point to the election of Kamala Harris. But it didn’t happen–largely because of the 7 “swing states”. These are the states: ARIZONA, GEORGIA, MICHIGAN, NEVADA, NORTH CAROLINA, PENNSYLVANIA AND WISCONSIN. Trump won by 90 electoral votes, 312 to 226. But our research showed some interesting numbers. In four states, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania 121% of registered Republicans voted for Trump. That means that despite alienating all those large voting blocs Trump managed to gain 21% more vote than voters who were registered as Republicans. Yes, independent voters could be part of the explanation–but–with all the negative shenanigans pulled by Trump and his court cases–that big of a difference is highly doubtful. These states represent 57 electoral votes and if these results were tainted and really should have been placed in Harris’s column, she would be the current president. She would have ended up winning 283 to 255 electoral votes. Questions: why didn’t the Dems challenge like the GOP did in 2020? What about other states results? The irony is that the GOP/Trump is shouting “corruption at the state level” and they may be right–but because they have found a way to corrupt the process in those crucial states and now it is spreading like contagion to the others. This is scary because it suggests that the GOP is doubling down on previously successfully corrupted results as insurance for the mid terms and beyond. Gerrymandering and voter ID verification may just be distractions.
MISLEADING HEADLINES
This edition of misleading headlines focuses on three USA Today articles: (1) “LEFTISTS FOMENT FEAR AMONG CITIZENS, LEGAL IMMIGRANTS”. This article written by a candidate for Ohio Attorney General tries to say that Minneapolis was caused by “leftists” and their paid demonstrators. This suggests that Renee Good and Alex Pretti would still be alive if it weren’t for the lefty lunatics. Anyone with a brain sees through that but unfortunately many MAGA types won’t. (2) “DEWINE: PROTESTORS DON’T NEED GUNS”. So, where were you on January 6, 2021? Why didn’t you speak up then? And you have some of the most liberal gun laws in the country in Ohio-were you wrong to pass them? Are saying that it’s not OK for your citizens to exercise their rights as outlined by the legislation you signed into law? Just another Ohio straddle. Next: watch Trump pardon Paul Householder, the former Ohio Speaker of the House, who was convicted of accepting bribes on behalf of First Energy Corporation. (3) “TRUMP-KENNEDY CENTER CLOSES FOR TWO YEARS FOR RENOVATION”. Really, it was totally renovated just a few years ago. This is a dodge so that Trump doesn’t have to admit that most of the performers want no part of his venue. Trump is now Chairman–having replaced all the Center Board members with his own suck-ups. The Director of the Center has suddenly resigned and acts are cancelling as we write this post. When will the “right” begin to see through this fraud?
We apologize for the weight of these posts. Desperation looms as we turn toward November and the mid terms. Campaigns will begin soon. Pollsters are already burning up phone lines trying to gauge the temperature of voters. It will get ugly this summer as Congress recesses so candidates can meet their voter bases. Hang on to your hat–this is going to be a rough one.
