Our president is showing his concern for the midterm elections. His obvious thrust is to control the vote count. But other actions are at play as well. Keep in mind that all of Trump’s moves attempt to distract from the one silver bullet that would end his political and possibly personal freedom, that is the release of the Epstein files. His Iran “war”, gas prices, retribution campaign, ballroom project, reflecting pool debacle, deals with Saudi Arabia, Truth Social lies,–all this and more are unethical, illegal and criminal acts. But the one revelation he cannot survive is the Epstein file info. In today’s posting we will address many of these actions; but, never lose sight of the distraction strategy. The Epstein File Transparency Act, passed by Congress almost unanimously last year is being violated every day. Heavy and incriminating redaction along with the withholding of 3 million documents and videos strongly suggest his guilt. And even now an Epstein victim has come forth naming Trump as her abuser. It’s no wonder that Trump will do anything to prevent the Dems from gaining control of Congress. His goose is cooked if The Epstein Transparency Act is fully complied with.
TODD BLANCHE: TOP COP OR TOP CRIMINAL?
Recently, Mr. Blanche presented himself to Congress as part of his vetting process for the position of Attorney General. Never before has such a travesty been shoved down our throats. This person is “slimy” in the sense that he chooses words that have double or inconclusive meanings–we call them “weasel words”. He cannot say who won the 2020 presidential election out of fear for Trump. He won’t sign off a written document that promises he won’t pursue paying the Jan 6 convicted thugs reward money for their criminal actions. In addition, his henchman tactics to seek and destroy anyone associated with the Trump investigations is shameful. Trump has obviously conditioned his position by requiring complete fealty to whatever Trump wants done. AND THIS MAN WANTS TO BE OUR ATTORNEY GENERAL…THE MAN WHO SHOULD SET AND MAINTAIN THE GOLD LEGAL STANDARD FOR THE WHOLE US. Of course, the irony is that the GOP constantly accused and accuses the Biden Administration of weaponizing the Department of Justice. This is typical Trump. Accuse your opponents of the crimes you commit before they accuse you. Let’s hope enough members of Congress show some spine and deny Blanche the opportunity to further destroy the laws of the land.
TRUMP DISPLAYS FRAUD TO THE NATION
As mentioned above, the midterm elections are Trump’s primary targets. He will do ANYTHING to gain control of the vote count. His recent TV’d speech shows us that he will lie to American voters without remorse if that’s what it takes to win. According to the fact checkers, almost none of his statements during that presentation were true. He claimed China had perpetrated “the most massive election meddling effort in history.” And then, a day later, he said words to the affect that it wasn’t that big a deal. He claimed the “big steal” lie again despite multiple vote recounts, election audits lawsuits, many presided over by Republican state election officials and judges. The MAGA crowd no doubt ate it up but sane voters know better. When your president knows that his career and personal freedom are at stake because of the criminal actions he performs, it’s time to call a halt. We are seriously off track. He ran for president in 2024 to avoid jail. And he’s planning to taint the midterms for the same reason. How did America get so perverse that candidates use elections to keep from going to jail? If MAGA’s had the guts to admit their hero is a fraud, we could flush him from the process and begin the long road back to common sense, compromise and collaboration. Again, let’s hope that Stephen Miller doesn’t succeed in taking over the midterms.
IRAN: THE THORN IN HIS SIDE
Let’s get one thing straight. Trump attacked Iran for one reason. Netanyahu promised Gaza to Trump for his resort development. If you want proof, google “Kushner, Gaza, resort”. You’ll see that the plans have already been through Draft #1 for Gaza. In exchange for attacking Iran, Trump will get whatever is left of the Gaza Mediterranean strip. This relieves Israel of fighting battles on two fronts, Iran and Hamas. In other words, Trump is spending military lives and billions of taxpayer dollars to reserve Gaza for his own profit motives. Contrast that with the GOP claim that Hunter Biden was being paid $50,000 for his Board Membership in a Ukrainian utility. Again, Trump accusing the opposition of the same crimes he commits to a much greater extent. Iran will not back down. Their leadership has been murdered. Think how you’d feel if someone blew up the White House and killed the president and several Cabinet members. Then there’s the blockade. China and India count on oil from Iran processing. So do you think they want Iran’s future to fall into the hands of Trump and Israel? And finally, Russia sees a fundamental weakness here. The war is unpopular so Putin knows it causes unrest among American citizens. And he knows it raises the price of gas so his oligarchs swim in engorged profits–adding to his popularity and support. And, further, we have evidence that Russia–despite Trump’s infatuation with Putin–is helping the Iranians by drone-targeting of American installations in the Middle East. Conclusion: This “war” is far from over. And while it stews, keep in mind that there are 500,000 Iranian nationals living in America. Many of them have family in Iran and some, no doubt, have been killed by our bombing. Iran is the world’s leader in terrorism. How long do you think it will take sleeper cells to disrupt our country? AND ALL BECAUSE TRUMP WANTS TO DEVELOP GAZA INTO A RESORT. How does anyone support this clown?
EPSTEIN UPDATE
We’re very concerned that honest media outlets have suddenly gone silent on the failure of the judiciary to force the total unredacted trove of all Epstein materials–as required by the 2025 Epstein Transparency Act. Is there no one to cause the enforcement of a law that was passed in Congress almost unanimously? This isn’t just another “double tap” event or “thug slush fund” or “complete immunity for Trump and his family from any and all tax penalties FOREVER”. This is the silver bullet or the wooden stake that will kill the career of our Hitler wannabee president. Thomas Massie, who Trump eliminated during the Kentucky primary, was gung-ho on releasing the files but suddenly has gone mute. Could it be that he wants to run for Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat next time around and he will need Kentucky Republican support? We ask that the US Supreme Court get involved in the Transparency Act enforcement. But, since they seem to side with Trump, we wonder if one or more of the justices are named in the Epstein files. It would make sense that a “conservative” clique would defend itself by agreeing with Trump on most issues if he held their future in his grubby hands. Imagine John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, either being an Epstein client or knowing that others (Alito, Kavanaugh, Thomas) are in those files. To preserve status quo, Roberts needs to protect his lot in life. We know that Clarence Thomas is a liar because he signed statements annually that denied taking any real value from any influencer. That is and was a lie. Alito flew the American flag upside down to show his disagreement with the Biden Administration. And how many mega donors to the GOP would be unearthed if we enforced the law by releasing all the info? NEVER FORGET THE EPSTEIN FILE POTENTIAL!!!
CLIMATE CHANGE EVIDENCE & TRUMP PREVENTION STEPS
To anyone paying attention to weather events, this year has been brutal so far and it portends to get a bit worse. Temps are re-setting high number records all across the world. America has seen its share of triple digits even as far north (repeatedly) as Billings, Montana, Fargo, North Dakota, Spokane, Washington and others. Europe has been plagued with multiple heat waves across the continent. Rome in the 90’s; Paris hit 100 degrees, Berlin in the 90″s, Paris nearing 100 degrees many times and London in the 90’s frequently. Last week the (British) Open Golf tournament was held in northern England where commentators had predicted weather would be a factor as it usually is in this event. But the temps were unseasonably warm all week. The 1,000 year floods are now occurring everywhere with unpleasant regularity. It appears that higher temps wring humidity out of the air more than lower temps and the result is catastrophic flooding. Because the Trump Administration is funded by billionaire fossil fuel oligarchs, his Environmental Protection Agency has ignored climate change and defunded ocean studies that help to forecast hurricanes and other major changes. Trump has directed $700 million to the coal industry so that they can continue to provide pollution-carrying stench to your lungs as they belch out utility company power. (Coal also funds the GOP–just check out West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.) Meteorologists indicate that a condition known as “resonance’ is occurring where jet stream path stalls out over specific areas and creates serious conditions. Wildfires (68) are now burning in 15 states due to jet stream moisture interruption. While Texas is experiencing huge rainfall amounts–one area received 27 inches in just a few days causing major flooding, property damage and loss of lives. All these negatives result from ignoring the documented statistical proof that experts are showing us. The world’s climate is changing and we are unwilling to face the reality that we must align our way of life to recognize what we need to slow down, speed up or learn to live with. The Trump Administration simply does not concern itself with the physical world your kids and grandkids will inherit. Trump is buying fossil fuel billionaire support with your lungs.
THE TRUMP GRIFT: FRONT AND CENTER
This is the Trump “in your face” activity. Your president has offered to sell his taxpayer funded insider info to wealthy hedge fund managers and others for $100,000/month. This service will allow his wealthy buddies to get advance info on Federal Government financial decisions automatically and ahead of the normal flow of news. Advanced insider trading is everyone’s wet dream and Trump is selling his position as president to profit both by selling this service (a clear violation of the emoluments clause of the US Constitution) and by investing in specific companies about to be announced as winners of government contracts. Trump cannot be charged with insider trading so he’s found a way to profit both as the decision-maker on which company gets the contract (maybe some kickback involved), selling the fact that specific companies are getting no-bid deals (a clear violation of law and all prior contract negotiations) and by investing through what he calls a “blind trust” (yea, right). While he engages in all this grifting and greed, food benefits have been eliminated for millions of lower income Americans, Medicaid eligibility has removed 16 million people from Medicaid coverage and the suspension of ObamaCare subsidies has caused several million more lower income Americans to choose between medical coverage and paying for food and gas at inflated prices. Can you understand now why Trump wants to count the midterm election votes? He knows the GOP will not survive his greed and he still thinks he can hold onto Congress.
SAUDI NUCLEAR DEAL: WHAT A MONEY GRAB
In the midst of trying to justify the war with Iran over their potential development of a nuclear weapon, Trump is negotiating a deal with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to provide nuclear technology and resources. The only condition seems to be that Saudi Arabia must establish diplomatic relations with Israel. The Crown Prince was guilty of killing and dismembering Jamal Khashoggi, an American citizen and journalist. Can Trump get any more perverted than to sell the ability to make enriched uranium and a nuclear weapon to a man who has already demonstrated his total lack of ethical, moral and legal principles? And all the while he conducts a war with Iran to block their ability to develop a nuclear weapon. This is proof that Trump wants Gaza so bad that he has again made a deal with Netanyahu to establish diplomatic relations–thereby removing the largest potential threat to Israel. In plain words, Trump doesn’t care that he’s handed over the nuclear threat to a seriously deranged Crown Prince because he gets Netanyahu’s OK to develop Gaza. As an American citizen, that should scare you to see how selfish and greedy your president is. And we wonder what the rest of the world thinks.
HERE COMES THE PHONY NUMBER BARRAGE
This month it was proposed by a senior economist out of the St. Louis Federal Reserve system that the measure of inflation be changed. This economist wants to remove the cost of gasoline from the calculation of inflation. His logic is that the price of gasoline is too dependent on world market price/supply/demand for oil and therefore doesn’t fairly reflect what’s happening to inflation in the United States, We agree with him BUT the purpose of measuring inflation is to gauge the cost changes experienced by American consumers for a specific list of personal expenditures. The PCE, or Personal Consumer Expenditures index, has always reflected the full impact of price changes–including the cost of gas. To remove gas from the measured list of consumer items is to downplay its impact on purchasing power for the average American. So we’re of the opinion that this is just a poorly veiled attempt to ratchet down the inflation stats during an election year. It is a political contrivance which has no basis for consideration–unless you’re Donald Trump or one of his minion GOP candidates running for re-election. Readers should remember when we posted that Trump has taken over the Bureau of Labor Statistics with the help of the US Supreme Court. This kind of numerical hocus-pocus should be expected–especially during an election cycle. We would remind you, the reader, that this suggestion is coming from St. Louis, Missouri, one of the reddest states in America. DON’T BE FOOLED BY ANY STATS PUBLISHED ON TRUMP’S WATCH. THEY ARE INTENDED TO SUPPORT HIS AGENDA AND WILL BEAR LITTLE OR NO RELEVANCE TO REALITY.
CHILDISHNESS IN A PRESIDENT ON FULL DISPLAY
Trump has slapped Canada with a new 50% tariff effective immediately. He says it’s to punish Canada for the pollution caused by their wildfires. Of course, this is only a smoke screen–pun fully intended. The tariff will generate more money for Trump to recruit and arm his ICE thugs and bribe anyone he needs to bribe–kind of an incidental slush fund. It will also dampen new housing sales, appliance sales, hurt jobs in the home building industry and generally cost our Gross Domestic Product. Trump will probably change the way that’s calculated too so we won’t see the damage he’s done. The real irony is: here’s a huge tariff imposed for environmental reasons. Of course, Canada can’t control where the wind blows its smoke. But, beyond that, we all know that Trump has absolutely no concern for the environment. He favors fossil fuel, subsidizes the coal industry, ignores climate change, hates wind turbines and solar panels, dropped the electric vehicle tax incentive provision, etc. So slapping Canada with a 50% tariff for environmental disruption is only a pathetic display of Trump’s childish immaturity. Yes, the world is watching as our president creates a new tax for all Americans that he calls an environmental tariff. What a joke!!!

- The Taylor Farms cyclosporiasis scare is spreading as we speak. First, note that the FDA lost several thousand food inspectors when Elon Musk and DOGE cut the Federal budget. Second, the owner of the Taylor Farms operation is a major Donald Trump donor. Need we say more?
- With the help of the US Supreme Court, large donations can now be made more flexibly starting with the upcoming midterm elections. Specifically, the change says that very wealthy donors can dump huge amounts of contributions into the hands of the election committees for either Party and the committees can dole out the money any way they see fit. The Dems objected to this because there are significantly more GOP wealthy donors than the Dems have. Democratic candidates tend to have smaller individual donations from less wealthy folks and those individual donations are usually assigned to specific candidates by the donor. Of course, the SCOTUS decision was strictly along conservative (Republican Party) lines 6 to 3. BE CAREFUL OF THE CAMPAIGN INFO YOU GET BECAUSE THE GOP WILL USE THEIR FUNDS EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY TO LIE, MISLEAD AND BESMIRCH DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES. THE ARRIVAL OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO WIN THE AD BATTLE IS A SERIOUS ADDITIONAL THREAT. DON’T BE FOOLED.
- Our president wants to erase specific events in our history. The Civil war didn’t happen because we never had slaves. Joe Biden was a terrible president. It says so on the plaque in the White House. And even the Smithsonian has caught the ire of our delusional leader. They have been instructed to remove certain displays from public view. Long time Smithsonian employees have been fired for not restoring the Museum to reflect the views of the president. What a world when the reality of our history showing how we have progressed and grown from and through tumultuous times into the “shining city on the hill” in the words of Ronald Reagan is to be obliterated by one foolish and short-sighted idiot.
- Changing topics, the Saudi Golf tour (LIV) is about to fold as we predicted about a month ago. The Saudi Wealth Fund has withdrawn its sponsorship and new financial backing has proven to be problematic. It will be interesting to see where the American and European players who defected to the Saudi tour eventually land. Their tours may welcome them back but fellow competitors and fans may not be so cordial. It’s difficult to criticize the LIV tour defectors. They are individual contractors trying to earn an honest living for themselves and their families during their prime physical earning years. The LIV tour gave them lots of money, no-cut events and more time to spend with their families. Who wouldn’t want those advantages? Let’s hope they can seamlessly blend in with whichever tour they choose.
- One final thought among “quickies”…Pete Hegseth, our Secretary of War (to Trump, the Chairman of the Board of Peace) wants to inject peptides into our military to boost their testosterone. The medical implications are numerous. Peptides are untested on humans, they have serious side effects, are expensive and may have long term effects after service careers are done and their value under military activity is questionable. Just another hairbrained idea from one of Trump’s incompetent unqualified and inexperienced sycophants. Hegseth should go back to his TV announcer job. He can’t do as much harm there and might not make himself look like a fool as often.
We hope everyone is having a safe summer season. The road to November will be the rockiest path our democracy has ever travelled. Its very existence is at stake. We want to remind you how close we came to losing it last month. Trump signed an Executive Order to deny birthright citizenship– a right guaranteed by the US Constitution for 250 years. If the US Supreme Court had allowed him to single-handedly amend the law we would have opened the flood gates for all kinds of abuses, like eliminating the two term limit for presidents to serve, the right of habeas corpus and every other change that wanders through the deluded mind of our dangerous president. And what’s really scary…the Court rules against Trump only 5 to 4. We came that close to duplicating the German Enabling Act that gave Hitler total control over German law. NEVER FORGET WHAT THIS MAN IS CAPABLE OF AND NEVER GIVE HIM THE CHANCE TO DESTROY THE AMERICA WE HAVE LOVED FOR 250 YEARS. DO NOT LET THIS NATIONAL BIRTHDAY BE ITS LAST!!!!
