EPSTEIN-EPSTEIN-EPSTEIN
Today’s postings will address many different topics but all we really need to remember is EPSTEIN and the release of the files. So far, half of the file cache has been released in heavily redacted form with perps names hidden and victims identification and full contact info front and center. This is an outrage. The Epstein Transparency Act REQUIRED FULL DISCLOSURE BY DECEMBER 19, 2025. To-date, we have no evidence that Trump’s DOJ has any intention of complying. That should be a crime also. Even Melania Trump is trying to distract by going public with her denial of any relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. She says a social media post either states or implies that she had a close bond with Epstein. No one seems to be able to find and verify that statement so we call it just another feeble attempt to take the spotlight off Trump. We’re told that a group of victims is planning to name specific individuals who abused them, including one who plans on naming Donald J. Trump. We’ll see. But the message here is: do not let this slide. We wonder why the Dems don’t turn to a Federal judge or the US Supreme Court to force full release. On the Ghislaine Maxwell perspective, she must know that fair midterm elections will condemn her to serve out the rest of her sentence because a Trump impeachment dooms any chance of a pardon. She may think that timing is on her side but hopefully the GOP will not want to further damage their chances of ever recovering from the 2026 midterm elections.
THE REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION
Anyone who has followed Trump even for a short time knows that he is “transactional”. That means he’s always looking to trade for what he covets. In the case of the attack on Iran, he is trading with Netanyahu. In exchange for taking Iran off Israel’s back, Trump has been promised the Gaza to build a resort. We suggest that the reader search the internet “Kushner, Gaza, resort” to provide the details. The resort is already on the drawing board. So, Trump is buying the Gaza with American blood (the military) and your tax money. That’s the reason Trump didn’t ask Congress to approve the attack. He knew even the GOP would vomit at the thought of disabling and killing service men and women just so he could make bigger profits. As this war–and it is a war–continues, body bags will pile up. When you see the president meeting with the fallen soldiers remember that he sees only collateral damage and delay–not the ultimate price those brave people paid and the families that he unnecessarily drowned in tragedy.
MIDTERM ELECTION TRAUMA
Get ready for a sleight of hand election. Trump will eliminate, taint, delay, or distract American voters any way he can. The general rule is this: the more votes that are cast–the greater the chances that the Dems will win. So we have 158 current cases–some in every state– to stop the GOP from limiting voter eligibility. They want voter registration data so they can selectively make rules that reduce the number of voters who might vote Democratic. They know that Trump’s antics have cost them huge voter blocs and they must try to downplay the impact of those voters. That’s what the SAVE Act is all about. So, to face the election as a realistic reflection of voter preference is naive. We would hope that the Democratic Party will seek a legal ruling (Federal judge or US Supreme Court) that strengthens the states rights to control the voting process, count and report the votes and have them certified as a matter of record. This ruling must be sought ahead of the election to allow safeguards to be put into place as a guarantee of free and fair elections. As we approach November, Trump will get more and more desperate so almost any ploy is acceptable if it means he takes over the final vote tally reporting. THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN.
MORE ABOUT VOTER ATTITUDES
We see new polls results daily and the outlook for GOP candidates is growing bleaker daily. Trump doesn’t care and that’s scary. Today’s issues are inflation, immigration, Iran war, revengeful immaturity, NATO ally alienation, Ukraine and the biggie–EPSTEIN. But the issue we think will cinch the Dem wins in a fair election is healthcare insurance coverage. As the year wears on, millions of Americans who have lost or will lose their insurance because of the Big Beautiful Bill (a misnomer if ever there was one) took away Medicaid coverage and ObamaCare subsidies elimination. As medical bills pile up and the Dems remind millions of voters of their BBB catastrophe, these folks will vote against the party that supported the BBB. But also–as a casualty to this BBB atrocity–many rural areas which typically lean Republican–are losing access to full service hospitals and are experiencing hospital closings. And, to add to that dilemma, the 30% to 35% hospital revenue losses will turn many voters in the healthcare industry against the GOP. In the US, 75% to 80% of all personal bankruptcies are due to the inability to pay medical bills–AND THIS IS BEFORE THE BBB EXAGGERATED THE PROBLEM. This subtle but extremely serious problem is the silver bullet that–up to now–seems to have escaped notice by the media talking heads. But, we recommend you watch for medical bill bankruptcies to grab headlines as November approaches. BTW, a recent news post just announced that the Trump Administration has reduced the Medicaid claims paying staff to about half its original size. That’s just another way to save Trump money but it also irritates those who do qualify for Medicaid under the BBB rules.
BONDI OUT; BLANCHE IN AT THE DOJ
Pam Bondi wasn’t devious enough for Trump (alias Stevie Miller) so he fired her. He thinks Blanche is more intelligent and can come up with new ways to serve Trump’s objectives. One new twist is to find and destroy Democratic candidates. Now we’re not saying that these Dems are innocent, but it seems strange that Eric Swalwell, a leading Dem candidate for Governor in California, suddenly is being accused of sex crimes years after they allegedly occurred. You can expect more of this as the GOP needs to muckrake their opponents because they can’t elevate their own virtues.
US ECONOMY NOTES
Inflation is up, unemployment is up, production of goods and services (GDP) is down, small business bankruptcies are rising, the trade deficit is soaring and we have a war draining tax revenue and adding to the National Debt. In short, we are in poor condition and continue to dig. Recently, the CEO’s of Ford, Honda and Toyota announced that they could not compete with Chinese electric vehicle makers. We posted the warning about this when we compared BYD–the premier Chinese EV maker–against Tesla. The Chinese product beats Tesla on price, reliability and range. Observation: Trump is being transactional again. He’s paying of his oil/coal buddies with your lung health. He’s withdrawn from the Paris Climate Accord, allowed EV tax credits to expire, staffed the EPA with his sycophants and bribed the French with a billion dollars to cancel their wind turbine program that would have served the East Coast of America. Your health and the health of your family are collateral damage as he curries the favors of billionaire oil and coal executives. Greed is his motivation and we see it producing dangerous impact on generations for years to come.
AN EMBEDDED FAILURE: MORE COLLATERAL DAMAGE
We talked earlier in this post about the Iran war, also known as the “real estate transaction”. It’s obvious impact on gas prices is on every street corner. But what is not so evident is the impact for many years on America’s farmers. A huge percentage of fertilizer comes through the Strait of Hormuz in normal times. But, because the unprovoked Trump attack and the closure of Hormuz, fertilizer prices are spiking. As a result, farm bankruptcies are increasing rapidly. So–even if the Iranian situation is resolved–those foreclosed farms will never come back into production. This means we grow and sell less of every farm-grown fruit and vegetable going forward–FOREVER. If you combine this problem with fewer immigrant workers to harvest–resulting in higher wages to Americans–our grocery bills are about to skyrocket. And they will never come down regardless of yield improvements. So far, the farmers plight hasn’t gotten much attention but when it does–this FOREVER MODE–will be the “new normal”. And we didn’t even mention that most of these products reach your grocer’s shelves in aluminum cans which now carry a significant tariff. The final straw is that the trucks that deliver to your grocery use diesel fuel which is at record high price levels now. Hold on to your vote–AND REMEMBER WHO CAUSE ALL THIS MAYHEM.
QUICKIES
Ok, it’s time to change subjects:
- The new Automatic ball-strike system is showing a lot of ump failures. We don’t think Major League Baseball intended this result. But, we were told a long time ago that every team has an umpire book. In it they describe the ability of the ump to be accurate. They detail whether he calls high strikes, low strikes, is impressed to call some pitches strikes because he was impressed by the pitch or anything else that might give an edge. So, we guess our point is: even if MLB didn’t know umps would suffer with the ABS system–the teams did. Now the question: what’s next?
- We continue to watch the LA Dodgers. As of today, they have the best record in baseball and will certainly win the 2026 World Series. Even the sportswriters are starting to fess up to the reality that having the best players at every position and the best pitching staff money can buy makes you a shoe-in for success. We told you in a previous post that we bet a sportswriter before the 2025 season started that the Dodgers would win it all. We gave him 31 other teams and it wasn’t enough. Look for 2026 to be a repeat. Put your money on the Dodgers. Their billion dollar contract with Fox and the absence of MLB Commissioner guts spell Dodger wins for many years to come. This field is anything but level.
- The National Football League and the National Basketball Association are also in the news. It seems that gambling is rampant and uncontrollable–boys will be boys, you know. But these investigations are simply another strategic distraction for Trump. His DOJ looks to shed itself of ONLY DOING WHAT DONALD TELLS THEM TO DO. So, they trump up (pun intended) some off-the-wall probes as they try to re-establish some respect. Our guess is that these will come to virtually nothing. Maybe some rules will be changed but no player of any real value will be suspended or banned–the advertisers would have a fit. And they’d re-negotiate their team. Network contracts that would cost everybody. So, no gravitas here…move on.
- Our congrats to Rory McIlroy on winning the Masters–AGAIN!! His 3 weeks of prep work, support from family and friends, superb talent and gutty determination proved to be the right combination. And while we’re on the subject of professional golf, there is a strong feeling that the Saudi tour is about to fold. We questioned the reason for that tour a log time ago. Financed by the Saudi Wealth Fund (oil money) there is little chance that golf will grow in the Arab world. Climate, lower income status, poor governance and a host of other issues have plagued the Saudi Tour (LIV tour) from the beginning. Apparently the ruling class has seen the light and collectively said “what were we thinking?” Stay tuned. The American PGA and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews have some fence-mending to do with returning players–if the Saudi tour dies.
