It seems as though Trump has been watching HGTV and taking the renovation concept seriously. Recently, he ripped out the White House Rose Garden that has delighted all of us for many years and concreted it over for his speech-making fiascos. Now he wants to build a $200 million ballroom on the property. Do you think he plans to stay beyond 2028? It will require at least a year to build the addition and we ask what the purpose is. This $200 million expenditure-plus the $40 million military parade on June 14th and the destruction of the Rose Garden are total wastes of tax payer revenue. And let’s not forget the retro-fitting of the Qatar plane. The reno of the plane is expected to cost more than the plane itself costs. Isn’t this the DOGE builder who ruined thousands of lives by laying off Federal employees? Isn’t this the same guy who took food money from poor kids (The SNAP Program) and gave it to his rich buddies? Do you see a dis-connect? And while he’s spending your money like a drunken sailor he’s berating Fed Chairman Powell for upgrading the Home building of the Federal Reserve System. Powell proposes to spend a billion dollars to upgrade the security of the Federal Reserve building. Trump objected to the Fed reno but that’s just a negotiating ploy to get Powell to agree to an interest rate cut. Trump is willing to sacrifice the American economy if he gets what he wants. Will the dirty dealing never end?
