Our forefathers created an imperfect democracy but they did the best they could. They never anticipated that a convicted felon and fraud would be president. And now that’s exactly what we have–thanks to the racist elements in our population. America has been portrayed as a three legged stool with three independent and equal branches of government. Any third grader can tell you that the executive, legislative and judicial branches are designed to govern within the US Constitution and any amendments thereto as time marches on. Well folks, that’s all changed now. King Donald runs all three branches and has appointed unqualified individuals to “lead” all the key agencies. He’s checked all the control boxes. He runs roughshod over all executive duties without regard for any interest but self-interest. He has a majority of sycophants (“suck ups”) in Congress who do his bidding by practicing political prostitution to save their jobs. And the Supreme Court–when it comes to integrity–is anything but honest and fair. So, does anyone know the definition of “dictator”? It’s living right in front of you. Trump is following the Hitler playbook. His next moves: muzzle the press. He bars the Associated Press from press briefings because they ask questions that embarrass him. And they re-arrange seats in the press room to give Fox and NewsMax more prominence. And they threaten to pull the broadcast license from MSNBC, CNN and any other network that that speaks the truth. Then he de-fangs any potentially robust legal opposition so he can’t lose in court. That’s the major law firm pressure referred to above. Final step: use the military to blunt any demonstrations or arrest any group of citizens who rally to oppose him. He’s already indicated that he would not hesitate to use the military against American citizens. These are all documented in the life history of Adolph Hitler. And they’re coming very soon to a neighborhood near you. The Nazi “brown shirts” will be fashionable again after being in the closet for nearly 100 years. How soon we forget…
