As the political campaign gathers steam the GOP is making wild promises of what they will do if elected. That’s nothing new for an election–IF THE PROMISES MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE. But the Trump promises are clearly targeted to get votes without any possibility of promise fulfillment. And that is different. Remember when we were going to build a border wall and Mexico would pay for it…how did that turn out? Remember the big tax cut that turned out to be a huge windfall of $3.2 trillion savings for billionaires? This was the theme of 1930’s Germany and Adolph Hitler. Promise them everything–once you have power–they have no recourse when you don’t deliver. Trump has indicated that he wants to control the Federal Open Market Committee’s decisions on interest rate changes…this is self-serving–he’s a real estate businessperson. He wants to control all technical interpretations of all former agency departments like environmental issues, food and drug, pharmaceuticals, etc. That would mean that he has final OK over oil drilling, drug approvals, and every other topic. He has positioned numerous judges to support any position he sees as benefitting himself or his financial backers. He has picked several unqualified lackeys to fill various government posts–if elected. He now effectively controls the US Supreme Court so that any case that gets to the top of the heap will surely go his way. He accomplished that by picking 3 stooges who were willing to perjure themselves while being vetted by Congress under oath. ALL THESE MOVES REFLECT THE ADOLPH HITLER OF THE 1930’s. IF TRUMP WINS THE PRESIDENCY AND CONTROLS CONGRESS, HE WILL OWN THE ENTIRE FEDERAL GOVERMENT–JUST LIKE HITLER. PICTURE THE OATH THAT HITLER REQUIRED HIS MINIONS TO TAKE: “I swear by God this holy oath that I shall render unconditional obedience to the leader of the German Reich people, Adolph Hitler, Supreme Commander of the armed forces and that as a brave soldier I shall at all times be prepared to give my life for this oath.” Can you see the similarity in Trump’s moves to align all decisions within the executive branch? His oath of loyalty may be unspoken but money is a binding force and fear of “retribution” is a reality in the Trump world.
