You’d think that any member of the Trump orbit who worked feverishly to promote the “big lie”, supported fake electors, pushed for the Attorney General to be replaced by a Trump loyalist and did all he could to prevent the peaceful transfer of power before the Biden inauguration and long afterwards might be prominently charged as a co-conspirator. But Scott Perry (R-PA) did all those things and has not–to-date–been harmed by all the indictments. As far as we know he hasn’t been deposed, called on as a witness, or even asked by the Jan 6 Committee for input. Is this the shadow man of the attempted insurrection? If so, shouldn’t he face the music at some point? Is his absence indicative of his political power or blackmailing resources; or maybe he’s a surprise Jack Smith is holding back for the present? His negative “contributions” to aid Trump should not be overlooked UNLESS they can be used to solidify charges against Trump. Stay tuned as you watch the Perry movement during the upcoming trial season.
