Last year we ran a Christmas story that you may have missed. So we’re repeating it as Americans everywhere prepare for the holiday. Whether you celebrate the Christian version or some other persuasion we think you’ll find this an interesting tale.

A Dollar Store cashier noted that a young man was buying a whole cart of small stuffed animals. She said “you must have a lot of kids or nieces and nephews”. He answered “no-none”. She inquired “why so many toys?” He explained that he was a server at a large restaurant and every year he saved his loose change. He would spend whatever he collected on toys of some kind each year. He would then store them in the walk-in fridge at his restaurant. At Christmas when he brought he bill to his customers who had small kids he would bring them each a small toy and tell them “I just saw Santa in the kitchen and he gave me these toys especially for you. They’re still cold from the North Pole”. He said the look on their faces was priceless. The parents were thrilled because the kids were amazed at Santa knowing where they were. And the rest of the story is: “I get a bigger tip, the restaurant gets tons of free publicity and more people come back–not just at Christmas but all year. EVERYBODY WINS AND THAT’S WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT!”

Hope you enjoyed this little taste of Christmas cheer. In December we’ll offer some Christmas wit and wisdom. Be sure to come back to www.anothersview.com for our gift to you and a bag full of comments on current events. HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!
