Ask yourself a very simple question: does the fact that Fani Willis had an affair with an associate have ANY BEARING on her ability to conduct the trial of the former president on charges of election tampering? Whether she or he received ANY monetary gains is a separate matter. If Trump and the others were somehow involved in the transfer of funds between Willis and anyone else it might be relevant. But her work as a Prosecuting Attorney representing the people of Georgia should not be interrupted because of a potential lurid affair. This is just another ploy to sidetrack the trial because the defendants (4 of whom have already pled guilty) are trying to beat the clock on some legal basis. Fani is NOT on trial; TRUMP IS. Let’s all remember what the case is and address it now. If necessary, a separate proceeding can be arranged after the Trump case is concluded. We think the Trump strategy is simple: delay the Georgia trial until after the election. If Trump wins, make a motion to remand the trial to the US Supreme Court for a final decision–where Trump and his bootlickers can prevail. Another example of “no one is above the law”. If Trump loses–well–there’s always a welcoming Russia for an ex-president who has had access to all of our national defense plans. All this can be avoided with a timely trial before the election. One way or the other–he will be judged without distractions.
