- TRUMP & RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES: Have you ever wondered why Trump opposes renewable energy sources? Solar, wind, water, etc. are all beneficial to the health of the planet and all of its inhabitants. Why would anyone not only ignore but actively work to eliminate those benefits? We’re not saying “renewables” solve every problem but as a healthy alternative that can be economically delivered on a large scale–why not? We think Trump has a deal with local and foreign oil sources (Read OPEC”). Big oil supported his campaign so he is re-paying them. And OPEC–which controls most oil consumed on earth–is critical to maintaining domestic oil prices by regulating worldwide supplies of oil. Keep in mind that none of the parties to this agenda are honorable. Domestic oil is protecting its profits and avoiding Trump retribution. OPEC is receiving huge amounts of funds from the US investments. Have you heard the name JARED KUSHNER lately? No…and that’s because he’s engaged with the Saudi’s on joint deals. You remember the Saudis–they’re the ones who masterminded the 9/11 disaster on the Twin Towers in New York City and were suspected of killing and dismembering an American journalist.
- TRUMP & HIS CHILDLIKE MENTALITY: Let’s just list a few items;(1) trying to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship because she is critical of his methods; (2) searching John Bolton’s house for classified documents (he had 300 of them but was not held accountable); (3) firing the Bureau of Labor Statistics Director because she reported accurate–but embarrassing–low numbers on new job creation (we know the truth hurts so you shoot the messenger); (4) removing all traces of slavery from the Smithsonian because ??????; and (5) stationing the National Guard and active duty Marines in Democrat-led cities on the premise that crime is out of control. Three points: (1) crime isn’t out of control in those cities; (2) the cities didn’t ask for help; and (3) such use of the military violates the US Constitution (Article I, Section 10, Clause 3). You’d think the US Supreme Court would address violations of the US Constitution but we assume they overlooked the action and its potential consequences. Do you still think Trump isn’t in full command?
- MIS-LEADING HEADLINES: There is no question that Trump is gaining control of the honest media (he already owned the soul of the corrupt media like Fox.) But recently stories appearing in Gannett syndication have taken a Trumpian turn to soften or even promote White House actions. Examples include (1) suggesting that the Biden administration’s job creation record was the real issue and that Trump inherited a terrible situation created by the Democrats. This, of course, is not true and is simply a cover-up for Trump’s failed policies. Another example is a recent story by the Huffington Post that reported the possibility that anti-vaxxers might be right in their assertion that vaccines cause more harm than they cure. This, of course, is refuted by any intelligent, reasonable and non-GOP mentality. But, as flu season approaches this kind of mis-information can be dangerous. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE EXAMPLE: YOUR BLOG EDITOR PLAYED GOLF WITH AN ANTI-FLU VAXXER FOR MANY YEARS. SIX YEARS AGO MIKE C. CONTRACTED THE SEASONAL FLU AND THE GERM DESTROYED THE VESSELS LEADING INTO AND OUT OF HIS HEART. A HEART TRANSPLANT WOULD BE USELESS SO HIS DOCTORS INSERTED A BATTERY-OPERATED PUMP DEVICE THAT ALLOWED HIM TO FUNCTION WELL FOR A WHILE. TWO YEARS AGO HE WAS HAVING SOME PROBLEMS AND HE MENTIONED THAT HE WOULD BE READY FOR THE END OF LIFE IF HE COULD MAKE A HOLE IN ONE. IN EARLY JUNE, 2023 HE ACED THE 13TH HOLE AT THE KENTON COUNTY GOLF COURSE IN INDEPENDENCE, KENTUCKY. AND A WEEK LATER HE PASSED. CALL THE COURSE CLUBHOUSE TO VERIFY THIS STORY. THERE IS A MEMORIAL PLAQUE ON THE 13TH HOLE OF THE PIONEER COURSE TO COMMEMORATE THE FEAT. WHO SAYS “13” IS AN UNLUCKY NUMBER?
- THE ENEMY IS US: A recent UN worldwide survey reported that 40% of the world’s kids are obese. It’s understandable that kids in third world countries have a limited choice diet and they eat whatever they can grow/find. But in the US this trend is disturbing. The report stated that 21% of US kids are obese and that the worldwide cost of obesity in 2035 is estimated at $4 trillion. If you want to know what drives up the cost of manufacturing look at the pictures in the newspaper or on-line. We are eating ourselves out of the competitive manufacturing market. Obese kids rarely change eating habits and adults obviously adopt self-destructive eating patterns that cause or complicate their health. As long as we look at health insurance as a safety net that allows us to make bad dietary decisions we will never be able to afford a national medical plan for all citizens. Insurance should be viewed as back-up for unexpected events that we do not cause…not as a license to destroy ourselves. As Pogo the Possum (an old time comic strip character) once said “we have met the enemy and they is us!”
