DON’T BE MISLEAD

All the TV “talking heads” are referring to the latest poll numbers that report the huge decline in Trump’s popularity. So we wondered about the type of supporters who might still be in the “approve of Trump” or “undecided” categories. Here’s what we cam up with:

• THOSE WHO PREFER A DICTATORSHIP OVER A DEMOCRACY–These individuals would be the members of the Proud Boys, the 3 Percenters and other radical groups who just like the violence that dictatorships always use to deny individual citizen rights (kinda like the US Supreme Court is doing now with its endorsement of random arrests of anyone who speaks with an accent).

• THOSE WHO ARE VERY STUPID (we couldn’t think of a better word)–Those individuals who ignore and have ignored all the facts that they have witnessed with their own eyes and heard with their own ears, like pardoning of convicted rioters who assaulted the Capitol Police, the theft and hiding of hundreds of classified documents, etc. These people are oblivious to reality. They chose Trump years ago and they refuse to look anywhere else…just stupid. Intelligence has been defined as the ability to adjust and these individuals are exactly the opposite. Mark Twain said “No amount of evidence will persuade a fool”.

• THOSE WHO ARE ARROGANT–These people are too proud to admit they made a mistake. They know–but won’t admit to anyone–that Trump is a disease that they helped spread and they realize all the damage he’s doing and has done to America. But their pride will not let them confess their failure to see Trump as a fraud from the beginning. As they continue to mouth support they silently dread the corner he paints them into every day with his onslaught of ridiculous and illegal actions. WE would place Fox News in this category because they are paid by ad sponsors who want to see high ratings and their greed will not allow them to be honest with their viewers…arrogance is their excuse.

So, when you hear support for Trump from any source it should be easy to classify the supporter into one of these categories. We hope we’ve made them easy to spot.

As a postscript, we caution you when reading media stories as “softening up” Trump/GOP positions so that future disastrous moves don’t seem so radical. Case in point: it was reported that Denmark has forced 450 women/girls to take contraception to stem the rising birthrate in Greenland. The story–in our opinion–is a total fake. The “investigator” is not identified and the report is not fully disclosed. Try to imagine how Denmark could actually force anyone to take contraceptives. And–even if they did–what business is it of ours? Did Trump order Putin to stop killing innocent Ukrainian civilians? Did he stop the Israel/Hamas conflict like he said he would? No, the Greenland story is all about suggesting to the Trumpers (listed above) that Greenland should be controlled by the US so this kind of treatment can be stopped.

There are other stories appearing daily in the media like the Bureau of Labor Statistics bungling the jobs created numbers–even back into the Biden years. All these stories are fiction–intended to plant the seed of doubt in voters minds that Trump/GOP policies and actions are appropriate. DON’T BE MISLEAD. IT’S ALL PROPAGANDA.
