We wondered why anyone would oppose releasing the full content of the Epstein files. The crime is sex trafficking of a minor and sex predator. The gravity of the subject matter should demand that every American shout “release!!!” from the roof tops. And then we considered what categories of people would oppose their release. It isn’t pretty but here’s the list we imagined:
- Other sex predators and sex traffickers would not want this topic on the front page–possibly for the publicity it would receive or possibly because they don’t think such activities are criminal;
- People who suspect they are in the files and would be subject to criminal charges;
- People who fear someone in their orbit may be guilty and they don’t want them “outed”;
- People who voted for the people who may be in the files and don’t want to know they voted for a sex predator/trafficker.
So, we conclude that only guilty people or those who supported (voted) for them should be concerned about the files. Then we wondered “what kind of American does not want to know if their president is a child sex predator?” The only answer lies in the GOP world. And now, even some of those staunch MAGA types are beginning to wonder.
Looking ahead to the 2026 mid-term elections, we see a contest between GOP gerrymandering rigging and a backlash against Trumpian actions–including the public attitude toward the Epstein files. So, it will be “process” versus “policies” in 2026. Trump has made several rash and inappropriate moves during his term but the last 2 weeks are especially desperate. His assault on the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the CDC, Texas gerrymandering, using the National Guard in DC and possibly Chicago, The Nobel Peace Prize, taking over the Kennedy Center, removing Lisa Cook from the Federal Open Market Committee, etc. He’s even chimed in on the new Cracker Barrell logo–for cryin’ out loud. The point is: he’ll do anything to distract from Epstein. And, unfortunately, the opposition seems to have taken the bait. For those of you who may watch MSNBC, we have a disturbing note. Nicolle Wallace failed to mention Epstein for the first time in 2 weeks on her Thursday night 2 hour program. IT’S WORKING. Trump-through a series of events–has distracted us from the major news of any day…is our president a child sex predator? The gun massacre in Minneapolis added to the headlines but the Trump-leaning media is over-newsing that event to help Trump beyond the Epstein news. If nothing new is happening with Epstein, media should still remind the public that they may have a child sex predator as president. If so, we think the GOP may pause and wonder whether they could embrace sex predators and still get re-elected or is this the “off ramp” they’ve wanted to rid themselves of the big fraud. We’re hoping enough GOP members of Congress think supporting a child sex predator as the standard bearer for the Party is a bridge too far but maybe not.
Please encourage all opposition to shout “Epstein” from the rooftops until every page is released unredacted. Please ask the FBI and other government paid employees who took an oath to the Constitution to speak up. And please ask the victims to come forward as we remember them in our thoughts and prayers.
We think that the GOP will show signs of throwing Trump under the bus when backroom talk reveals leaks from undeniable multiple sources that the president is guilty as documented in the files. The question is: how long can the GOP close its eyes, plug its ears and hold its collective nose as truth comes to the surface? But we need to make sure MSNBC and others do not let this topic fade from the public view.
DON’T YOU WANT TO KNOW IF YOUR PRESIDENT IS A CHILD SEX PREDATOR? IF NOT, FIND YOURSELF IN ONE OF THE ABOVE LISTED CATEGORIES. AND IF YOU ARE AMONG THOSE CATEGORIES, CONSIDER WHAT IT MEANS TO PRIORITIZE YOUR PRIDE OVER THE WELL-BEING OF YOUR COUNTRY–LIKE THE GOP HAS FOR THE LAST 9+ YEARS.
