The Texas legislature–a GOP super majority–is trying to rig future elections by gerrymandering district maps with the result that more GOP reps will likely be elected to the State posts. This usually happens every ten years when census changes justify a re-count. But Texas Republicans are jumping the gun. They want the changes now and aren’t willing to wait for a census justification. It’s called “dirty politics”. Because the Texas Dems left the state, the Legislature cannot achieve a quorum and therefore cannot execute the voter theft they want. So Governor Abbott has enlisted the FBI to round them up and bring them home–possibly in handcuffs–to sit and watch the voter theft the GOP wants. Contrast this with the use of the FBI in the Epstein case. Both FBI Director and his Deputy shouted for months that the Epstein files MUST be released and they demanded transparency. And Attorney General Bondi said she had the Epstein files and was going to review them. Suddenly she said there was nothing “credible” to be released. Think about that. Epstein was a child sex trafficker for over 10 years. He made a fortune by pimping underage girls for wealthy and influential clients. But Bondi says the files contain nothing credible. Just from an organizational viewpoint, if you had hundreds of clients and hundreds of girls to match them up with–wouldn’t that REQUIRE some filing system? Our point: despite the leaders of the FBI screaming transparency and demanding the release of the Epstein files not a single FBI agent has been assigned to investigating and reporting on those files. Hundreds of FBI agents have–in fact–been assigned to redacting the files to hide Trump’s name but NONE of the FBI resources are addressing whether our president is a child sex predator. So–to sum up- the FBI can be used to pursue Democratic lawmakers from Texas so Texas can steal future elections but the FBI cannot be used to unmask child sex predators in the government. Another dis-connect. One wonders if the Dems are not insisting on a Ghislaine Maxwell interview because some Dem names are in the Epstein files and you can bet your last dollar that those names are not being redacted.
