We learned something new about DJ Trump this week. We now know he ‘s not a history buff. If he were a history buff he would know what happened to Richard Nixon. In the early 1970’s Nixon was caught in a lie. He tried to cover up his knowledge of a break in at the National Democratic Party Headquarters at an office complex known as the Watergate. The media–in all forms–is a gigantic hound on the scent of wounded prey when someone that important screws up. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, investigative reporters for the Washington Post, uncovered and reported on the Watergate affair. Despite the proven fact that Nixon did not even know it was going to happen (the break in) he later tried to hide it. Eventually it cost him his job and he became the first and only US President to resign from office. Fast forward to the present. Several of Trump’s inner circle (Cabinet members and advisers) have harped on the Epstein files and what they contain. Elon Musk has stated that Trump’s name appears in the Epstein files. His Attorney General, Pam Bondi, said he’s mentioned several times in those files. And the Wall Street Journal is reporting edgy details about his affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein who was convicted of child sex trafficking. FYI, clients of child sex traffickers are committing a crime. The White House now says it will not release the files because Obama and other liberals filled those files with lies. Question: why would you retain files you know to be fake for several years? But the clincher is this: Trump is suing the Wall Street Journal for $9 billion–defamation? In any case it ,is now worth $9 billion for the Journal to produce conclusive evidence that what they printed is accurate. On the line–besides money–is the credibility of the Rupert Murdock news organization–including the Fox News network. We believe the TACO syndrome will again surface. Trump always chickens out (TACO) because the discovery phase of this suit will devastate the presidency, the GOP and the 2026 election cycle. That is simply too high a price for MAGA to pay. Either Trump will be abandoned, or he’ll withdraw or he’ll delay legally any court proceedings. Our message to the president…your crumbling orbit is sinking like a stone. The only remaining issue is how many others you take with you.
