Let’s set the stage for a discussion about immigration. The first statements that need to be made will indicate that under the Biden administration more immigrants were deported that have been deported under the Trump administration on a monthly basis. Secondly, when the GOP offered an Immigration Bill to President Biden he accepted the terms of that bill and was ready to sign it. Only an 11th hour rejection by Trump prevented Congress from passing that legislation. Our point is that immigration was in full swing under Biden and Biden was willing to go forward with the GOP immigration solution until Trump stopped it. Fast forward to today we now have and unsettling conglomeration of executive orders, incompetent leadership, and frenzied activity that grabs headlines as publicity under Trump. If we look at the evidence we can see that a number of individuals whose visas we’re still legitimate under their granting terms and yet are being extracted from this country. We also know that a number of individuals have been relocated to El Salvador. The most famous individual is Abrego Garcia who was in this country legally and was assured that he was safe from deportation. Because the Trump administration refuses to use the word mistake Mr. Garcia is being held in a very secure prison away from his family. The Trump administration has defined a federal judge’s order to return Mr. Garcia and at this point the Supreme Court has put a hold on that order. This is a case of an individual wrongly scooped up in a mass raid and deported illegally. The Trump administration refuses to help return Mr. Garcia to his family. This is wrong and we hope that the Supreme Court of the United states will rectify the problem. For your information, we have learned that another recent deportee who is the wife of a Trump voter was held outside the country for 49 days. She is a citizen of Peru and was married to an American citizen. As soon as the Trump administration discovered this she was returned immediately to her family. Once again we see the politicization of decision making in the Trump White House. This is wrong and it needs to be corrected. If these search and destroy deportations continue we can see attacks on pro athletes, college players, celebrities, and anyone else who Trump deems disloyal to his personal desires.
