Have you ever heard of “peace talks” that didn’t include BOTH sides of the war? Trump and Putin are discussing peace with Ukraine. That’s the furthest point from the truth we can imagine. Trump and Putin are negotiating who gets what of Ukraine after the US withdraws all support and Putin slaughters all resisting Ukrainian citizens. Trump knows that the sooner he abandons Ukraine the sooner Putin takes over. So the “peace talks” involve the timing of our withdrawal and what mineral resources we will rip from the Ukrainian soil. Trump will withdraw when Putin agrees to allow whatever percentage of precious minerals Trump finds adequate. Civilian deaths are just collateral damage. “It is what it is”. The recent White House bullying of Zelenskky was only a prelude to the negotiation. Trump let Putin know he was reluctant to support Ukraine but stopped short of any real policy position. That told Putin “we aren’t aligned with Ukraine if you want to do business with us. But we want minerals in exchange for letting the Ukrainian people die.” This is your president. Instead of rising to the defense of Ukraine like Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt did in both World Wars, he seeks to profit–life be damned. This is your “pro-life” candidate. When the choice is saving lives or making money–guess which one wins!!!
