We have listed in prior posts how Donald Trump brain tries to work. Over the 54 days of his presidency we have noticed an alarming trend towards pure pettiness on his part. It started with wanting to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. We are listing below just some of the items that have come to our attention. We want you to imagine as you read these the whether any president in your experience could be pictured as having said the same words and taken the same actions as our current president. It is impossible for us at “anothersview” to imagine anyone much less a president making these points.

*As mentioned before Trump wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. Do we need to ask the question: “why”?

*He is actively investigating law partners of Hillary Clinton who opposed him in the 2016 national election. Again: “why”?

*His administration-with his concurrence- has renamed military bases with confederate generals names. This of course infuriates the African American voter–we hope. And again we ask the question: “why?

*During the recent wildfires in California Trump delayed emergency funds that were already allocated for just such a disaster and questioned the forest management abilities of the state of California. He chose to question the use of water and interfered with the state process by releasing huge quantities of water that the state was counting on during its dry season to grow crops and make available for drinking water for its people. Again it should be noted that California is a solidly “blue state” and Trump knows that if he can convert the state’s voters to a “red” vote he will guarantee virtually Republican wins in the state and possibly at the national level in future elections. Also of note when the Carolinas experienced the same wildfire problems that California had there was no mention of their forestry management failures and emergency funds were made available to them immediately. Of course, they have voted with the Republican Party over the last few elections and Trump had no hesitation to provide them with whatever aid they need. Do you see a pattern?

*Because The Associated Press has asked the unforgivable of Trump they have been banned from the press room at the White House and at other press briefings. The AP has asked Trump point blank “why” too many times. Because he has no proof, no facts, and no depth to what he says, he finds the question “why” embarrassing. So, to avoid looking stupid in front of the world he removes the only news agency willing to ask “why”?

*Trump has apparently taken an action to address whether paper or plastic straws are appropriate for use in commercial establishments. Is this time well-spent for the leader of the free world?

*Apparently this disease of pettiness is spreading to red states. The State of Texas is considering legislation to change the name of the “New York Strip Steak” to the “Texas Strip Steak”. Does this sound like a topic the Texas legislature should address?

In conclusion, try to see George Bush, John Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln or George Washington addressing these “pressing issues”.
