From time to time we have addressed the appalling state of Ohio and all of its confusion between the Governor DeWine (pronounced “Da-Weeny”) and the Trump administration. The following information will provide an update of some of the things that are going on in this major state of confusion.
- First, an example of the current confusion can be found starting with the Ohio Department of Health where the new director is promoting preventive measures like vaccines immediately after the installation of RFK Jr. , the new Director of Health and Human services at the federal level. His approach demotes the use of vaccines as the cause of autism. This is an unproven fact but it doesn’t bother RFK Jr. because facts apparently in the Trump regime are unimportant.
- Another misstep in the state of Ohio is the return to office work for the employees as at the federal level. Both of these movements are causing major problems. Employees who were allowed homework are now trying to return to offices that no longer exist. This causes major disruption in their functioning as part of an overall effort toward their department goals. Since this is not a concern of either president Trump or Governor “Da-Weeny” it is unimportant that their latest fiasco is failing. They will put a positive spin on it regardless of how badly it fails or how much inefficiency it creates.
- The final step in Ohio is a current bill that will allow those people who join gymnasiums for the purpose of health related issues will be able to deduct up to $1500 off their adjusted gross income for the state of Ohio thereby taking in effect a tax reduction as a reward for gym membership. The concept is ridiculous. It assumes that individuals who attend gymnasiums will lose weight and thereby save medical plan costs for their employers or for state medical programs. This is not true, not proven, not in evidence, and not logical reasoning. We all know how faithful gym members visit their gyms.
It appears that the state of confusion in Ohio will continue as long as Governor Da-Weeny attempts to mimic the federal rules put in place by the Trump regime. This is a rocky road and at some point we hope the governor of Ohio realizes how foolish he looks.
