Knox is a symbolic support for the paper currency you use every day. Way back when, people used only gold and silver to buy goods and services. Eventually we learned that paper money (with no intrinsic value–it’s just paper) is acceptable everywhere as a medium of exchange. Our point: EVEN IF THERE IS NO GOLD IN FT. KNOX–NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
