We predicted a few months ago that the GOP would get desperate as November approaches. The polls are now heightening Republican fears with a Harris surge in the numbers. Trump and Vance continue to make fools of themselves and alienate large voter bases. The pro-choice issue will turn many “red” states to “blue”. Whenever that issue is alone on the ballot–even in deeply red states, the pro-choice proponents win. And for the Titanic (pun intended) duo this is just the tip of the iceberg. They tick off the vast majority of women, gun law control supporters, climate change enthusiasts, veterans, gays, students, etc. It almost seems that they are trying to lose. So, we ask the question: what does the GOP see as the path to the White House? We see only two paths. The first is violence and we think that–after January 6, 2021–the US will be ready for that approach. The second is US Supreme Court intervention. It would work like this. Harris will win the vast majority of both the popular and the electoral votes but GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson will refuse to certify. Using some shady political moves, resolution of this “Constitutional crisis” will be handed to the US Supreme Court. Because the US Supreme Court is corrupt it will find some basis to delay certification of Harris as the winner and call for whatever recounts/audits/legal proceedings needed to stall. Failing to find evidence that would justify a Trump victory, eventually they will throw the decision back to the House of Representatives where the GOP majority will award Trump as the winner. And that, dear readers, is why the Dems are saying that our democracy is on the line. The will of the vast majority of American voters will be ignored if this scenario unfolds. And the unscrupulous dictator will be forced down our collective throats. Remember that when you vote. And hope that the Dems have anticipated these moves and can outflank them.
