RELEVANT QUESTIONS THAT SOMEONE SHOULD BE ASKING

The political scene is so dynamic that much seems to be lost in the fold of each new day. So we at anothersview have decided to slow the pace down and ask…

• Should Trump be required to register as a sexual offender–now that he’s been convicted?

• Should SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas be charged with tax evasion for not reporting the value of millions of dollars in gifts from GOP mega-donors? (Everyone else would be investigated and charged–if appropriate.)

• Should Governors Abbot (Texas) and DeSantis (Florida) be charged with aiding all those murderers and rapists who immigrated for bussing them out of state? (The govs are helping them to escape justice.)

• Should a Special Investigator be appointed to look into past SCOTUS decisions involving Thomas and Alito and GOP mega-donors? Have they ever participated in any decision that would have in any way benefitted the donors?

• Should gun store owners be held accountable when guns they sell are used in crimes–especially mass murders? Retail drug chains are held accountable for the easy access to narcotic they have allowed in recent court decisions.

• Should free world nations threaten to confiscate Russian oligarch assets, sell them and fund Ukraine unless Putin retreats?

• Should Jack Smith, the Special Prosecutor in the Trump Federal cases, request that Judge Aileen Cannon be removed from the bench or at least recused for her previous actions?

• Should Kavanaugh, Alito and Barret be charged with perjury for lying to Congress under oath during their vetting process in regard to their attitude on abortion? Any one who is found to have lied on their employment application in any job in America knows that they are subject to termination if they provide false statements. Why is the Supreme Court not held to the standard on their building which says “equal justice under the law”?

• Should the Department of Justice publish a list of legal “favors” extended to Trump so that his supporters can know his words are false when he cries “witch hunt”?

• Should the July 11th Trump sentencing include a more strict gag order that prevents Trump from campaigning on a platform of violence and hate?

• Should the Federal Communications Commission notify all forms of media that slanting news stories to foment anger or violence will not be permitted? Factual information only is to be permitted. Failure to adhere to this order will result in the suspension of broadcast licensing and prevent hard copy publication until after the election. No media source wants to be denied ad money during these months so good behavior will be observed and a relatively “clean” campaign should result.

• Should the Democrats ask the GOP to publicly agree to increasing their states’ welfare budget to accommodate the increased demands brought on by fewer abortions? In other words, the GOP cannot balk when states need to pay out increasing costs due to their own self-imposed anti-abortion laws.

• Should the Federal Government inform Trump that he is not permitted to invite any foreign head of state unless the US has established diplomatic relations with that country and the visit has been cleared by the US authorities? What would happen if Trump invited Putin like he invited Viktor Orban from Hungary? Logisitcs–including security issues–need to be addressed so “winging it” with Putin or Kim Jong Un of North Korea is out of bounds.

• Should states–other than New York where Trump was summarily adjudged guilty–pursue criminal charges for fraudulent actions with banks, insurance companies and the state’s taxing authority? He has property in 8 other states.

• Should independent media trace the rise of Adolph Hitler and match it with the Trump actions to-date? So far, both individuals (1) seek total immunity (2) refuse to accept the existing head of state (3) disavow the authority of the FBI, the Department of Justice or the CIA (Hitler replaced all police with his Secret Police–the SS–and the Gestapo.) and (4) carry out “retribution” after seizing power.

• Should Congress demand that Mrs. Alito explain her reasoning for flying two disruptive flags at two different homes? As the wife of a Supreme Court Justice I think we’re all owed an explanation. And while we’re investigating, should Congress demand that Mrs. Thomas explain why she supported the Jan 6 rioters as they pillaged the Capitol?

• Should an individual who was convicted of multiple felonies be allowed to run for President of the US and leader of the free world? He would be prevented from holding ANY OTHER PUBLIC OFFICE IN AMERICA (due to his convictions) BUT STILL COULD BECOME PRESIDENT. He doesn’t even qualify to pick up garbage in Washington–but he could be president. This is beyond ridiculous and several million voters do not see this distinction as relevant.

• What would happen if any of the SCOTUS Justices admitted that he/she favored specific donors because they were given millions of dollars of gifts? There appears to be no legal method of removing justices….kinda like Trump wanting total immunity even if he orders the murder of a political rival. Is that scary enough for you?

Regardless of your political persuasion you should want the answers to all these questions….but someone needs to ask them first. Maybe the election will give us the answers.
