• Despite consistent fraud perpetrated against banks, insurance companies and the New York State taxing authorities, Donald Trump still went bankrupt four times. Even with all his cheating he couldn’t make a profit.
  • The recent lifetime banishment of a Major League Baseball player (other than Pete Rose) will lead to a full blown scandal. Betting is everywhere–from office pools to major betting parlors in Vegas. So much money is in play that some bad actors are always present. Our guess is that this latest banishment is just the beginning.
  • The offer to key oil industry executives by Trump to favor their interests if elected needs to be investigated. Congress and the Department of Justice needs to stop the selling of the presidency. The story reminds us of the 300 boxes of classified docs found at Mar-A-Lago. What did Trump intend to do with those docs? Who would have been his most interested customers?
  • The recognition of the Negro Baseball League on the same terms as the current league is a nice gesture. There is no question that some of those players were equal to or better than some of today’s stars. They say timing is everything and for those negro stars of the bygone era–it can’t be more accurate to say that they were simply ahead of their time. In a perfect world, the negro stand-out players would have been given the chance to play regardless of race because of their abilities. But America was different then and continues to change despite all those current bigots who insist on labelling people instead of treating them as equals.
  • If you still wonder if the US government–including states– is mismanaged, consider this: Donald Trump cannot qualify to collect garbage in New York City but he can still run for president of the US and be the symbolic leader of the free world. Someone who cannot work as a sanitation worker could have his hands on the nuclear button in 2025. Now that’s scary!!!
