Yesterday, a court found the president’s son, Hunter Biden, guilty of falsifying his paperwork when buying a gun. He said he wasn’t taking a controlled substance when the facts seem to prove otherwise. Most legal experts believe Hunter was the victim of a GOP witch hunt. The prosecutor involved was appointed by Trump and President Biden did not replace him–as he could have done. And now Hunter Biden is to be sentenced for up to 25 years in jail. Allow us to make a prediction. Hunter Biden’s lawyers will appeal the decision and we think they will prevail at the appellate court level. They may not reverse the conviction but they will certainly minimize the punishment. Here’s our reasoning: Hunter was found guilty of buying a gun while taking drugs. If he was in fact taking drugs at the time of the gun purchase, he clearly suffered from diminished capacity. He did not know what he was signing–it could be argued. And if he wasn’t suffering from diminished capacity then the verdict should be overturned. The way the number 16 box is worded is key to that distinction. And we’ve heard that the question in box 16 was under scrutiny BEFORE the Hunter Biden trial. Also a 25 year sentence for this failure (the gun was never used to commit a crime) versus 4 years for 34 felonies and very probably changing the 2016 election results is a joke. Regardless of your political leaning, no one can justify the harshness in the Biden result compared to the leniency in the Trump case. Stay tuned.
