We present three pieces of evidence:
- Two GOP state office candidates were recently unmasked for their actions. One is being held on a charge of trying to strangle his spouse. A second has been linked to neo-Nazi groups and refuses to deny that affiliation. Sound like your kind of people?
- The Impeachment trial of Secretary Mayorkas is a total joke. He is being singled out for not implementing the immigration solution THAT THE GOP RECOMMENDED AND THAT TRUMP HAS FORBIDDEN. Mayorkas wants to solve the problem USING THE GOP RECOMMENDED PLAN. BUT TRUMP WON’T LET HIM AND THE GOP IS ROASTING HIM BECAUSE HE WON’T DO WHAT THEY THEY WON’T LET HIM DO. If this sounds like a childish Soap Opera, you have excellent hearing. And when you contrast this sham against what Trump was accused of in his two Impeachment trials…well, you begin to understand how ridiculous the Mayorkas debacle is.
- Arizona has been in the headlines lately and again the GOP is the culprit. Imagine a 160 year old law (The Comstock Act) being upheld to ban pro-choice abortion activities. This law was established by a territorial government–BEFORE ARIZONA WAS EVEN A STATE. The Arizona Attorney General went judge-shopping and found a GOP flunky judge who would support this action. The AG is Mark Brnovich. This is the same AG who, in the aftermath of the 2020 election, hired an outside company to investigate the presidential election results. He paid taxpayer money for 10,000 hours of work. And when the result SHOWED NO SIGNS OF TAMPERING, MIS-COUNTING, THE DEAD VOTING, OR ANY OTHER ELECTION VIOLATION, HE BURIED THE REPORT. AND THEN HE ISSUED A STATEMENT THAT THE REPORT SHOWED SIGNIFICANT ELECTION “IRREGULARITIES”. Remember, this is the individual whose total responsibility is to uphold the laws of the state of Arizona. DO YOU THINK HE DID HIS JOB? The only question is: why wasn’t he charged with crimes in office for his abuse of power? The citizens of Arizona deserve better.
We’ll continue this deathbed saga as the GOP slowly heads for the cemetery in November. It won’t be pretty–but, then again, death is seldom pretty.
