• Former President Trump is getting all kinds of press coverage–both for campaigning and legal problems. Every “sound bite” is vague–in our opinion. When he says “The Biden Administration is a disaster” or “our economy is in shambles” or “Nikki Haley is incompetent” — no one asks him to elaborate. Why does no one ask “why is the economy in trouble?” or, “why is the Biden term failing?” Could it be that the press knows he has NO CLUE and is afraid that embarrassing him with any follow up questions that will get them booted off the list of approved press corps members? Watch his next comments and ask yourself why no one wants examples.
  • Governor DeWine (pronounced “DA-WEENY”) has been asked how much the taxpayers of Ohio paid for him to transport, house, feed and buy tickets for 17 family members to the Super Bowl last year. The State House has ruled that providing such info would be to reveal security staff and procedures so as to possibly compromise the Governor’s future safety. Talk about BS!!! The man spent thousands of dollars ILLEGALLY and his office refuses to admit it. Even in a Republican state there must be some kind of ethical conduct rules that criminalize theft in office. In general law, these amounts would be considered felonies. If “no one is above the law” he should be facing felony charges–but he’s a Republican and, like Trump, he can do anything he wants. Maybe he thinks he’s immune from prosecution.
  • Another Republican state heard from today. Florida is in the process of passing a law banning access to social media for anyone under the age of 16–EVEN WITH PARENTAL OK. Consistent with their ban on books, the DeSantis regime is concerned that young minds might get too much information that would allow them to make judgements free of political bias. While we applaud the social media restriction because it recognizes the danger–we don’t think that danger comes from teenagers. It comes from serial killers, terrorists, white supremacists, hate-mongers and the like. Florida chose the right issue but is hitting the wrong target.
  • And so a Russian plane carrying 75 Ukrainian POW’s crashes on its way to a prisoner swap. The travesty is that Russia IMMEDIATELY was on the news blaming Ukraine for killing its own people. That was a handy ploy. We question why Ukraine would intentionally kill its own people after negotiating the swap deal. Further, we know Putin has no regard for human life and therefore is more than willing to sacrifice as collateral damage any number of souls to turn the sympathetic tide against Ukraine. We predict that eventually evidence will be found to link Putin to the deed or at least to exonerate Ukraine.
