For those of you keeping score, here’s another comparison between the former and the current president. Mr. Trump pardoned three individuals who all were involved in the failed election/January 6th discussion. All were convicted. General Flynn was convicted (and admitted) that he lied to the FBI ( a felony) about his Russian contacts and also admitted to taking thousands of dollars from Russia for reasons that weren’t really pursued. Roger Stone was pardoned for lying to Federal authorities on seven different occasions and witness intimidation. And finally Steve Bannon was convicted on two counts of Contempt of Congress. By the way, NONE of these convicted felons is in jail presently. On the other hand, Joe Biden pardoned six individuals–most of whom had relatively minor offenses and had actually served their time and been released. All are now productive members of society. Not one of them ever met a Russian, participated in a potential government insurrection, lied to any Federal authority, attempted to intimidate a witness or was held in Contempt of Congress. You be the judge. Was Mr. Trump living up to his Oath of Office when he released those felons into American society?
