It’s ironic that the largest organization in America appears to be the most mismanaged. We’re talking the Federal Government. Forget about the GOP vs. The Dems. The real problem is the totally inefficient and ineffective use of taxpayer funds. Examples are numerous…here are just a few. The Post Office cannot deliver mail on time anywhere. They keep raising prices. Two years ago-despite a commitment to “go green”–they awarded a $6 billion delivery truck award to a company that didn’t even have an electric vehicle on the drawing board. Typical of any failed group they just released a self-audit (meaning it’s their own review) indicating that they had done a wonderful job in 2022. What a load of you-know-what. Next we have the IRS debacle. All the while Mr. Trump was blocking the release of his tax returns “because they were under audit” (as required of all Presidents) there was no audit. Mr. Trump lied for six years and the Head of the IRS said nothing to set the record straight. Next we have the Immigration Department. There is talk that the GOP will soon seek to impeach the key people for not solving the migrant problem. It’s true that the Biden Administration has done little to answer the call. But–in all fairness–Mr. Trump said he would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it. We all know how that turned out. Next we have the Department of Justice. Two cases: Steve Bannon was convicted and sentenced several months ago but he’s still running loose and spreading his BS. WHY? Second case: Mr. Allen Weisselberg, Trump’s Chief Financial Officer, cooperated with the DOJ and was given a five months reduced sentence. The devil in the details: Mr. Weisselberg was facing a 15 year sentence and his “cooperation” netted a $1.9 million fine against the Trump Organization. That calculates out to a 98% reduction in jail time for a pittance in tax fund recovery. Said another way, all the Trump properties were involved in lending and insurance fraud for many years. But the resulting tax due and penalties–including interest–was $1.9 million. Does anyone really believe those numbers? How can an empire involving so many properties for so long a period of time produce only a $1.9 million fine? And Mr. Weisselberg received a 98% jail time reduction for that “cooperation”. Our last example today is the (not so) Supreme Court. They are clearly politically biased (overturned “Roe” despite a 50 year old SCOTUS precedent, consistent polling showing a 61% pro-abortion opinion, and without any new evidence being presented); they are conservatively biased and out of touch with the legally preferred position of the American people. They operate “on their own dime” without regard for precedent, majority opinion, individual rights or common sense. There are many more examples of Federal Government failures. Just read or listen to the news today. You’ll recognize them.
