If you missed it, the abortion score in Kansas (a glowing “red” state) was 59% pro-abortion rights and 41% anti-abortion rights. In a state that clearly has voted decisively Republican forever this vote of no-confidence for the GOP position is a resounding statement. Imagine this anti-GOP platform vote triggering a general negative attitude among “red” voters so that gun laws, climate change, student loans and other unpopular GOP positions flip “red” voters in other less “red” states than Kansas. We think the GOP had better hold on tight in November because they’re tinkering with very personal and emotional values in their voter base. Think of all the mass shootings, floods and droughts, global weather extremes, in-debt students as well as pro-abortionists in all those other “red” states. We think they may just turn the tide “red” and make the GOP blue.
