• As a follow up on a previous post, the Ryder Cup broadcast on Day 1 used 780 commercial interruptions–not counting voice-overs and visual promos. This also does not include “Sports Playing Through” segments.
  • Climate changes are no longer in dispute. The polar ice caps are melting faster than ever before; annual planet temps set new warming records in each successive year for the past 5 years; even the tilt of the earth is changing because the weight of the ice caps is melting and floating into ocean currents. ….we wonder…if weight on the planet shifts enough, will the planet’s orbit be affected?…any baseball pitcher (or physicist) will tell you that unequally-distributed weight on a sphere will cause it to curve when thrown…is that kind of motion factored in when politicians dispute climate change? Imagine the impact of moving closer or further away from the sun. Maybe you should ask your local astronomer if this could happen.
